Vacation Rental

San Jose Ca homes for sale, and Hollister Ca homes for sale, both have ample opportunities for average buyers to purchase a vacation rental.  The recent (last 3 years) downturn in real estate prices and the over abundance of bank owned properties have left countless opportunities to pick up a vacation rental at a great price.  Vacation rentals are a bit trickier to purchase however, because they are income property as opposed to a primary residence.  This is only of concern if a bank is involved.  If you are fortunate to be a cash buyer, not only is it easy, it is an opportunity to get a potentially lower price from a bank, because they are confident that the deal will close escrow without too much difficulty usually associated with involving another lender.
